Daily Responsibilities |
While working closely with the client, the analyst will examine existing business models and flows of data and discuss their findings with the client. Work activities will also typically involve: liaising extensively with external or internal clients; analyzing clients' existing systems; translating client requirements; producing project feasibility reports and presenting them to clients; working closely with managers and a variety of end users to ensure user satisfaction; ensuring that budgets are adhered to and deadlines met; writing user manuals; providing training to users of a new system and keeping up to date with technical and industry sector developments. The ASIP is used to validate and justify resource planning and decisional requirements.

The ideal candidate must have experience with the analysis of Armory, camp and training sites' official facilities information. The candidate must also have experience in conducting an undetermined number of ASIP related studies or assessments involving BASOPS issues, facilities requirements due to reserve component training, Armory relocations, closures, or acquisitions, stationing scenarios, and tenant population needs.

The successful candidate will provide technical and procedural support to field organizations nationwide in the use of ASIP systems and processes. This effort will include e-mail and phone support, attendance at conferences and meetings, presentations, briefings, and participation on other forums as directed, where expertise on Agency processes and procedures is required. The candidate will be able to maintain a log of assistance provided, issues and other information for use in tracking improvements.
