Daily Responsibilities |
Support the emergency management mission to the respective clients and command at the state and local installation levels with the development and implementation of emergency management programs and plans.
Included in the responsibilities is to assist in developing and maintaining the all-hazard emergency management plan, promote and coordinate with local and state responders for emergency management activities, establish working groups across the spectrum of leadership and stakeholders, serve as liaison in assessment of emergency response capabilities, integration of emergency response requirements and resource planning and all-hazard emergency management training and exercises.

- Knowledge of structure, functions, objective and interrelationships of emergency management program at installation, Federal, State, County and local government level.
- Familiar with and ability to interact effectively with installation, State, County, and other local government officials.

- Must have effective verbal communication skills and exhibits a high degree of professionalism in order to make public presentation and interact in a clear, concise manner.
- Excellent writing, editing and proofreading skills.
- Proficiency with MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
- Must have strong organizational and problem-solving skills to prioritize multiple tasks.
- Flexibility to seek assistance from team members when necessary.
