Job Responsibilities

The Contractor will provide Service Desk and User Management support for AF users of DSAID to include processing requests to establish, modify, suspend and close user accounts, and perform management review of all accounts and their related privileges. The Contractor will store and maintain all documentation needed for user access and follow proper AFI safeguarding procedures. The Contractor will verify that all users requesting access to DSAID meet user eligibility requirements and ensure users who are granted access to DSAID have access only to the approved modules and case data. The Contractor will support the verification of users that are transitioning into and away from duty as a Sexual Assault Response Coordinator (SARC) to ensure cases are being properly transferred and DSAID User Accounts are terminated. The Contractor will provide Help Desk Support during duty hours for AF DSAID users.

  • The DSAID contractor will provide daily Service Desk support, technical knowledge and expertise on DSAID and awareness of Investigative Information Management System (I2MS) interface. Any issues that arise will be elevated to the AF SAPR Operations Branch Chief for resolution.
  • The DSAID Contractor will receive and analyze the DoD DSAID report to ensure compliance. The contactor will develop and maintain an excel spreadsheet to ensure accuracy of reports generated by both DSAID and I2MS, and modify the DSAID report as directed by the SAPR Program office.
  • The DSAID Contractor shall provide ongoing training support on DSAID and assistance to system users, to include administrator and user system training, operational coaching, briefings, demonstrations, and reports.
  • The DSAID Contractor shall provide DSAID report management support to include: recommendations for the format and criteria to define standard report template(s);
  • The DSAID Contractor shall provide an analysis of the AF data quality control process, the data collection process, and/or the standard reports process. The Contractor will provide the best practices in process improvement frameworks and methodologies.
  • The DSAID Contractor along with AF SAPR Operations Branch Chief shall participate in scheduled monthly DSAID Change Control Board (CCB) meetings.
  • The DSAID Contractor shall provide draft and final quarterly and annual reports on sexual assaults, in the format prescribed by DoD and AF, utilizing monthly data from DSAID, I2MS, the Automated Military Justice System, input from other Major Command (MAJCOM) SARCs, and data from other approved AF systems as needed.
  • The DSAID Contractor will provide reports on an as-needed basis when data is requested by the Commands and approved by the SAPR DSAID Functional Manager.
  • The DSAID Contractor shall compare monthly data provided by Office of Special Investigations (OSI) with data entered into DSAID, and the DSAID Contractor shall produce a monthly Report(s) that identifies instances where information is missing from incidents being worked by OSI in DSAID.

Required: Years of Experience (min) 3+ years’ experience
Required: Degree / Certification Bachelor’s degree preferred / DSAID certified preferred
Required: Experiences The database manager will have experience with database management and a SME in Excel. They will be required to complete Defense Sexual Assault Incident Database (DSAID) online training.
