Daily Responsibilities

  • Performs Master Planning tasks as required to help the Program Office ensure that schedule, cost and technical requirements are met
  • Monitors progress against baselines and assists program management in identifying issues and work around plans
  • Utilizes a variety of software tools to analyze and optimize program schedules as well as to identify and quantify risks and opportunities
  • Provides independent assessment of program schedule performance to management
  • Builds, reviews and executes critical path analyses.
  • Provides task leaders and project management with clear, timely and accurate information with which to make informed decisions.
  • Implements and analyzes schedule risk analysis as required. Briefs results to management and makes recommendation on techniques to optimize the schedule
  • Ability to review/revise/develop formal documentation (requirements, policy, etc.)

  • Bachelor's Degree and 3-5 years’ work experience or equivalent experience

Typically requires a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management or a related discipline and 3-5 years of progressive professional experience in program planning, monitoring and scheduling. Equivalent professional experience may be substituted in lieu of education.

  • Proficiency in MS Project and MS Office is required
  • Capable of creating and building out a new schedule without a template, assigning resources, performing resource leveling and smoothing to address allocation issues, creating and using custom fields to facilitate custom views and filters, maintaining and updating baselines, providing Gantt chart and tabular reports, developing custom task calendars, analyzing schedule risks, and identifying driving and critical path activities in the schedule.
  • Qualified candidates must have direct experience leading program teams in schedule development, maintenance, and update
  • Military and/or Government experience a plus
