Daily Responsibilities
|
There will be multiple positions for Project Managers.
- Perform project management responsibilities on behalf of the assigned Project Management Office including coordinating stakeholder requirements, facilitating and developing technical requirements, developing project level schedules, resolving issues, and tracking project progress
- Ensure conformance to each PMO’s Bilateral Master Plan (BMP) / Area Development Plan (ADP), real estate transaction requirements, environmental and safety requirements, criteria and design requirements, and scheduling. Projects include administration/operational facilities, community support/quality of life facilities including bachelor and family housing, and infrastructure/utility improvements.
- Provide technical assistance to tenant and user activities on all matters in the areas of proposed construction contract modifications, criteria development and compliance, functional layout, maintenance and technical requirements, standards, and construction and project scheduling.
- Perform functional reviews to ensure compliance with the intent and requirements of the basic criteria package and those such requirements carry forward into subsequent documents that will result in a contract for construction of the project; report discrepancies requiring corrective action.
- Coordinate the identification of discrepancies or inadequacies in structure, design, system requirements, and functional or performance reliability in relation to U.S. standards and requirements. Confirm discrepancies or inadequacies are corrected and plans revised prior to actual construction

- Minimum of 5 years’ previous experience in facilities project management

- Professional certifications in project management such as CAPM or PMP or equivalent.

- Extensive knowledge of project and program management principles, especially as they apply to utilities and/or facility design and construction
- Experience with the disciplined application of project management processes, tools and techniques in the areas of: project integration, scope management, change management, time management, cost management, quality management, communications management, risk management, and stakeholder management
