Daily Responsibilities

There will be multiple positions for Senior Project Managers.

  • Develop, review, analyze, and update Basic Facility Requirements (BFRs), USFJ Form 42s, site planning, and other associated planning documents for tasked projects. Perform site visits and technical inspections and attend project meetings to develop and to ensure conformance of requirements. Adhere to Marine Corps Order 11000.12, Real Property Facilities Manual, Facilities Planning and Programming.
  • Promote and advance each PMO’s concerns, considerations, and feedback during review of BCPs, collateral equipment development and budgeting, project execution to ensure compliance with the BMP) / ADP. Provide and assist PMO Planners with technical studies/site plan concepts/floor plan concepts/feasibility analysis as requested. Provide and assist with technology assessments, criteria assessments, cost impact analysis, Table of Organization (TO) / Table of Equipment (TE) analysis, budget forecasts, risks analysis/mitigation, and documentation/reporting.
  • Prepare documents for submission to the MCBB Facilities – Public Works Branch (GF-PWB) to support the internet Naval Facilities Assets Database System (iNFADS). Prepare site approvals and records for dispositioning facilities to be excessed for disposal or repurposing or added to the USG inventory of facilities. Review and update facilities support requirements (FSR) documents. Provide updates for MCBB’s real property inventory
  • Use CAD / GIS to analyze and develop planning documents and requirements. Model and analyze civil and utility information, maps, drawings, aerial photography, and other topographical or geologic data.

  • Minimum of 7 years’ previous experience in facilities project management and planning

  • Four-year degree or professional certification in Community Planning, Architecture, or Landscape Architecture or equivalent experience
Required: Experience
  • Knowledge of “Marine Corps Planning Process” (Marine Corps Warfighting Publication (MCWP) 5-1); Marine Corps Order 11000.12/ Real Property Facilities Manuel; and OPNNAVINST 11010.20H, Facilities Project Manual, and the UCF 2-100-01, and UFC 2-000-05N
  • Knowledge of USN Shore Installations Programs: iNFADS, EPG, ECONPACK, eProjects
  • Experience in the creation, revision and presentation of planning, design and construction documents for the development of the program for several hundred new buildings.
  • Knowledge of ArcGIS (level of understanding: basic to moderate); Adobe Creative Suite. Knowledge of and/or rendering experience such as: ArcGIS 3D, Sketch-up, AutoCAD or other similar Programs
