Daily Responsibilities

There will be multiple positions for Logistics Manager, Warehouse Manager and Logistics Analyst. Please indicate which you are applying for when you submit.

  • Assist in the programming, planning, and procurement of all CE and GFE requirements. Develop and maintain accurate program CE and GFE procurement lists grouped by project containing all data associated with the procurement and synchronized with the program schedule and budget.
  • Coordinate completed BCP with USACE, MCIPAC, End-User and other stakeholders to determine collateral equipment (CE) and Government Furnished Equipment (GFE) requirements.
  • Assist in the development, review, and recommend changes to the base facility requirements associated with the following three categories of equipment classifications, per the Joint Facilities Improvement Program standards
  • Provide input to the Government regarding coordination with consulting agencies and discussions with the users to establish Category A, B, and C requirements. Coordination with MCIPAC, USFJ, USACE, or GOJ may be required
  • Assist in daily oversight and management of Warehouse operations, tools, and materials (except as specified as non-government-furnished) to perform the requirements for warehousing material receipt and issue, material handling, customer service, inventory management, and disposition.

  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in USMC or USN logistics, including 2 years’ experience in managing large logistics operations and programs (to include material and warehouse management).

  • Knowledge of DLA, USN and/or USMC logistical/supply policies and procedures.
  • Familiarity with the architectural design process and ADA requirements.
  • Understanding of how Architects, Contractors, Engineers, Product Vendors, and Military work together in the military environment.
  • Familiar with Military Design Guides, Guide plates, and UFC.
  • Specialized work experience in the Architecture/Construction fields.
  • Knowledge of warehousing principles involved in strategic planning, resource allocation, leadership techniques, production methods, and coordination of people and resources.
  • Knowledge of Inventory Management, including scheduling inventories, maintaining databases, and tracking and providing solutions for quantity differences.
  • Knowledge of Warehouse Configuration Management, including analysis of storage capacity, safety requirements, weight, type of commodities, and security in order to maximizing storage locations.
  • Knowledge of relevant Safety and Security policies, procedures, strategies, and equipment to promote effective local security operations for the protection of people, data, property, and institutions.
  • Skill in identifying complex problems, reviewing related information, developing and evaluating options, and implementing solutions.
