Daily Responsibilities
  • Assist the Government Program Manager (PM) in developing reports on strategies for medical CBRN response (Bioenvironmental) and the OEH program for AF review
  • Assist in developing program processes, tactics, techniques and procedures (TTPs), and developing/generating education/training (E&T) materials for AF personnel
  • Develops Air Force concept of operations (CONOPS) for medical plans, force health protection and OEH surveillance and risk assessment for inclusion in AF multi-functional doctrine, policies, plans, concept of operations and instructions.
  • Develops relevant solutions related to the performance of the AFMS in-garrison, deployed and homeland security missions, and policies concerning BE capabilities in surveillance, mitigation, and response.
  • Research, analyze, and review current AF, multi-service and Mission Essential Tasks Lists (METLs) OEH program requirements
  • Research, analyze, and review current AF, multi-service and Mission Essential Tasks Lists (METLs) for CBRN response (Bioenvironmental) and OEH program requirements
  • Recommend and provide guidance and assessments for the updates and preparation of AF METLs and other documentation.
  • Provide report on current AF METLs for OEH surveillance and risk assessment requirements to the Government PM monthly
  • Identify requirements and prepare supporting documentation for upgrades and acquisition of material and non-material solutions. These documents include Operational Requirements Documents (ORDs), Mission Need Statements (MNSs), exercise plans and command, control, communication and intelligence systems
  • Support the BE and AFMS funding and budgeting process by analyzing Program Objective Memoranda (POM) submissions and MAJCOM expenditures for validity, accuracy and supportability for both the line of the AF funds and Defense Health Program (DHP) funds
  • Support the AFMS HSMR and OEH Program Initiatives by preparing draft advocacy documentation for additional program procurement and operations funding
  • Support managing OEH exposure inquiries and associated subtasks. This task requires communication with other AF, federal agencies and veterans on health effects information related to the veteran’s potential exposure during their military service
Required: Years of Experience (min)
  • Seven (7) years of DoD experience or similar senior level expertise in strategic planning, social marketing, program development and evaluation 5+ years of experience as a Business and Quality Analyst
  • Five (5) years of experience in the functional knowledge of workflow analysis, business process reengineering and advisory and assistance services
  • Five (5) years of experience in accomplishing multi-tasks (work, organize, and time management) projects simultaneously
  • Five (5) years of experience in current software programs: Microsoft Office to include Project, and Internet search browsers/tools
  • Seven (7) years of experience in either of the following specialties: Environmental Science; Industrial Hygiene; military Chemical, Biological, Radiological and Nuclear Readiness; Statistics; Technical writing; or Toxicology training/education.
Required: Degree
  • A Bachelor’s of Science degree in Industrial Engineering is preferred, but not mandatory.
