Daily Responsibilities
  • Serve as a Strategic Advisor to the Catapult Program Office and provides expert acquisition, technical, and program management oversight support for current (Catapult), developing, and/or future agency programs in various stages of planning and definition.
  • Provide acquisition, technical, and program management oversight support for current and developing programs such as Catapult Information System, ANTS, VOLTRON, and future programs and capabilities in various stages of planning and definition.
  • Review, analyze, evaluate, prepare, and update acquisition and other program documentation and correspondence in line with regulatory guidance (e.g., DoDD 5000.02, DFARS, FAR, JCIDS) and other Federal governing acquisition regulations, policies, and processes, as appropriate.
  • Contribute to the development of program submissions to include issue nomination papers, reclamas, POM, and BES
  • Review, analyze, evaluate, and update long-term roadmaps for programs and capabilities; develop and document acquisition strategies; and develop and refine requirements documentation.
  • Support and provide expertise in the development of defense program acquisition strategies to include governance, requirements analysis, roadmap development, and implementation, all of which requires an understanding of capabilities, requirements, limitations, risks, and opportunities.
Required: Years of Experience (min)
  • 5 years of acquisition experience with 3 years in a program office
  • 3 years’ experience in DOD acquisition and life cycle management
Required: Degree
  • Bachelor’s degree in an engineering, scientific, business or equivalent field
  • Master’s degree preferred
Required: Experience
  • Experience implementing project management principles and managing, tracking, and coordinating a wide range of actions, documents, and tasks through completion
  • Experience using official program documentation for managing acquisition programs in line with regulatory and legislative guidance (i.e., DoDD 5000.02)
  • Experience in technical writing and documentation of complex technical concepts
