Daily Responsibilities
|
- Designing and developing enterprise services using RAML in Mule, REST based APIs, SOAP Web Services and use of Mule connectors
- Configuring APIs, proxy endpoints, API portals and API analytics based on technical specifications with MuleSoft API manager
- Build, orchestrate, and deploy complex integration architectures, as well as defining system, process, and experience layers
- Apply API-led connectivity concepts to business initiatives to help organizations achieve their goals
- Document and assist in implementing MuleSoft based architectures within on-premises and CloudHub environments following best practices
- Facilitate requirements design work sessions for best practices

Required: Years of Experience (min)

- 3+ years of hands-on experience with MuleSoft ESB, CloudHub and API Management.
- 5+ years of overall professional development experience

Required: Degree
|
- BS/BA degree in Computer Science, Information Sciences, or related IT discipline
- Allowable Substitution: Additional ten (10) years of related professional experience can be substituted for a BS/BA degree

Required: Experience
|
- Strong understanding of underlying Mule ESB architecture with experience of server administration and physical deployment (On Cloud, On Premise and Hybrid).
- Understanding of architectural concepts for MuleSoft implementations including encryption, security, logging, scalability, clustering, and securing solutions
- Experience with a breadth of MuleSoft inbound/outbound connectors, for example: Web Services, File, Database, Salesforce, JMS, AWS services, etc.
- Strong knowledge of Enterprise Application Integration/Service-Oriented Architecture (EAI/SOA) best practices, development methodologies & standards
- Demonstrable understanding of Web API Services (SOAP & REST), XML and JSON formats document schemas, HTTP protocol, and underlying internetworking concepts
- Experience in Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) using Maven, Jenkins, Subversion, Git, DevOps and/or comparable toolsets
- Experience with Java/JEE programming/development
- Experience with documenting architecture/design specifications
