Daily Responsibilities
|
- Analyze requirements and develop technical designs for Power Platform applications, Dataverse data structures, workflows, reporting, and integrations.
- Assess existing applications and support decisions to maintain, modernize, replace, or retire them.
- Design application components, data flows, custom connectors, security roles, and integration approaches.
- Develop and apply technical standards for application configuration, testing, deployment, maintenance, and change management.
- Review application designs and troubleshoot complex application, workflow, integration, performance, and security issues.
- Prepare and maintain technical designs, configuration documentation, implementation plans, and operating procedures in collaboration with the technical team and Government stakeholders.

Years of Experience:
|
- Minimum of five years of relevant application engineering, solution design, application architecture, or software engineering experience.
|
|
Required Degree:
|
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Software Engineering, or a related technical field preferred. An equivalent combination of education, technical training, certifications, and directly relevant professional experience may be considered.

Requirements:
|
- Experience analyzing complex business and system requirements and translating them into technical application designs.
- Hands-on experience designing or implementing Microsoft Power Platform solutions using Power Apps, Power Automate, and Dataverse.
- Experience designing application integrations using APIs, custom connectors, databases, or other enterprise systems.
- Experience supporting the full software development life cycle, including requirements analysis, design, development, testing, deployment, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
- Experience with application lifecycle management, version control, configuration management, change management, and release processes.
- Ability to develop clear technical designs, architecture documentation, implementation plans, and operating procedures.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, communication, and collaboration skills.
- Experience with model-driven Power Apps, Power BI, SharePoint Online, Microsoft 365, and application lifecycle management tools preferred.
- Federal application-engineering experience is preferred; NIH or HHS experience is particularly desirable.
- Relevant Microsoft Power Platform, application architecture, or software engineering training or certification is preferred but not required.
- Detailed experience processing ICSRs for the FDA is preferred but not required.
